What is Video Conferencing

Video Conferencing (VC) should be easy - read our E's of VC! But for too long it's been made to appear complex and complicated. Take a typical definition of video conferencing -

"a set of interactive telecommunication technologies which allow two or more locations to interact via two-way video and audio transmission simultaneously" (Wikipedia)

No wonder most people have been put off.
We prefer to put it much more simply -

Video Conferencing means that when you call someone you can see them as well as hear them.

Admittedly the equipment is full of clever technical wizadry but you don't need to worry about this.
All that matters is VC is a way of
communicating using sight and sound.
